Norwich Playhouse saw the start of the sell-out shows by Norfolk’s favourite “twins” this week and I was lucky enough to photograph their second performance on Wednesday, August 21st. Karl and Owen returned to Norwich to perform on stage after 5 years away, and were warmly welcomed by the people of Norwich… and Norfolk, and possibly even some from further afield!
As a Norwich-born girl I love the self-mocking, Norfolk-twisted humour, and had to put the camera down at times as my image-stabiliser was not good enough to keep the lens still while my shoulders soaked-up my chuckles!
Anyone lucky enough to have a ticket to the run at the Playhouse, or the two nights at the Theatre Royal, will not be disappointed…

Puppet Man returns
She Go makes an appearance
Today was my third creative shoot with Alison – a very talented violinist and music tutor based in the same “village” as me. The brief was for a shoot based around a piano to promote Alison’s piano tutorial work. I am lucky to have a friend with a baby grand piano and a home that offers a beautiful location in which to shoot. So we headed off to the South Norfolk location with a car full of potential dresses and accessories to meet up with the hair and make-up team: Tracey Ward for hair and Emily Turnbull from LoveMoi Makeup. A couple of first images are posted – the intention was to use bleeding backlight and textures to create a painterly and atmospheric feel to the imagery. More to follow…
